Our day began at Turner Hall where Dena and the Bridesmaids were getting ready for the ceremony. One of the fun challenges of shooting a wedding is trying to come up with a great setting to highlight the dress.
I would think that a guy with a full frame camera and a 200mm lens right in the brides face while she is applying eye makeup might make her a little nervous, it didn't appear to bother Dena at all.
The Door to the Gates of Heaven.
The ambient light in the Gates of Heaven is pretty spectacular, we got some great shots of Dena and Kyle in a couple of locations.
The Synagogue is located on the corner of James Madison Park and right outside are the shores of Lake Mendota.
With some help from Craig, it's raining apple blossoms.
The traditional bridesmaids holding the groom shot, Kyle was a reluctant participant. I don't think he trusted them.
We also made a stop at Allen Gardens.
It looks like the bride and groom fell asleep for this one, even though it was overcast, the sky was so bright everyone was having trouble looking up.
Back to Turner Hall for the Reception and Dance...
Kandy and Randy were married at Badger Farms, the ceremony in this beautiful outdoor setting. You will never find a more sincere and loving family.
